We decided to use this room as we have had experience presenting/showing exhibitions there before.
The room is open and is easy to access. There aren't many wires going in or out of the room so it is very safe. The room is located on the first floor of the college and as you walk through the entrance into the Creative Exchange, you can easily see the room, so it will be rare for someone to get lost.

The brief:
Out brief is to curate and host an exhibition which has a theme chosen by us, this is to promote and advertise the UTC Sheffield.

The Theme:
For this exhibition, the theme will be 'Creative Sheffield'. We will attempt to portray a creative side of the city and showcase the interesting landmarks and events that happen in everyday life in Sheffield.

Aims of the exhibition:
The aim of the exhibition is to showcase Sheffield in a creative light, it is also to showcase the work that has happened at the UTC Sheffield. A number of images will be displayed on screens inside the college that represent an interesting creative aspect of the city and the building. The exhibition's purpose is to make people from different areas of the country show more interest in Sheffield and the UTC Sheffield.

The audience:
The exhibition will be aimed at perspective students, stakeholders, parents and people in the area of the UTC Sheffield.

Equipment:
We will use Cannon 650D cameras to take detailed images of Sheffield, we will then use software such as Adobe Bridge and Adobe Photoshop to sort out and manipulate our selected images until we are happy with them. Tripods and other lenses such as a wide angled lens will be used. The computer we're using is an Apple iMac 27".

Catering:
Drinks such as coffee, tea, orange juice, water and black current will be served along with biscuits and sandwiches. There will be a variety of flavours as members of the audience may have allergies.

Legal and ethical  considerations:
The exhibition must not include and copyrighted or offensive material. The images used will be from the members of the group only and the music will be produced by members of the group, or selected from a Royalty free website.
